The four pillars within the strategic plan help guide OIT’s path forward, ensuring the work we do is in service of our students, our campus, and the greater community.

Creating security for our campus is about anticipating, protecting, and building resilience. Today’s cyber threats are not the ones we will face tomorrow. OIT will continue to protect our most precious assets from malicious actors by remaining vigilant in the ever-changing world of cybersecurity and employing future-proof technologies.
Empower
In a world where technology touches almost every aspect of our daily lives, the platforms and processes we choose for our UCI community can either hinder or embolden – allowing for students, faculty & staff to be empowered and engaged.
Transform
Fostering excellence in teaching and learning and building an engaged, agile workforce for the future is only possible through forward-thinking transformation in all aspects of campus life. OIT is a dedicated partner to our campus units, but equally important is our ability to act as a guiding source towards what comes next in technology.
